Once Thanksgiving has passed, it truly feels like winter. And, winter means snow and snow means snowflakes, right? Well, maybe not here on the Central Coast, but we can still have fun with snowflakes. Have you ever made edible snowflakes out of tortillas? Denise Indvik did this last year at one of the Classic Story Hours. Simply get some flour tortillas and clean scissors. Fold the tortilla into a wedge and begin snipping. Unfold and voila--an edible snowflake! It's extra scrumptious with some powdered sugar sprinkled on top. Here's a Family Fun recipe that you can bake and then eat.
